Welcome to Ekwendeni Hammers FC Online.
Ekwendeni Hammers FC is a young community-based team based in the Northern Region of Malawi.
The club plays in the Super League of Malawi, which is the elite league in the country.
Ekwendeni Hammers FC is run by a dedicated team of founding members of the club and a few other individuals who were roped in to assist in various aspects of the club’s operations. All these people dip into their pockets to ensure that the club stays afloat. This team is headed by myself, as the patron of the club.
Funding is the biggest challenge facing the club at the moment. We are always looking for partnerships with individuals , associations, the corporate world, businesses, the Government, religious bodies, etc. We offer a platform which can be used by various stakeholders to expose their products, services, messages, etc. Please use the *Contact Us* page to get in touch with us so that we can brief you about the various ways we can help sell your businesses or communicate your messsges to your target market.
The structure of Ekwendeni Hammers FC is as follows:
1. A Patron who acts like the Executive chairman of the club
2. Management team which is responsible for daily administration of the club
3. The main team itself (called Ekwendeni Hammers) which has got 30 players and 7.members of technical and support staff.

4. The Youth or Reserve team which has got 25 players and is managed by a coach and an assistant coach. Quality players from the Youth side are promoted to the main team
5. The Women’s team which is also overseen by a coach and an assistant coach
6. Administration/Finance Manager, Business Development Consultant and Media/Marketing Officer who work with and for all the 3 teams but are not part of the Management team. They are support staff for all the 3 teams
